John's Revelation has at times been happy hunting ground for end-time speculation and gloomy prediction. On the contrary, this 7-week study will reveal Revelation as seven scenes of hope rooted in the rich history of Israel. Revelation was good news to early Christians living under beastly powers, and it is good news for us as the Spirit unveils the same beastly powers at work in our world today. Using creative imagery, Revelation describes in vivid color the struggle between the heavenly throne of God and the earthly thrones of evil. What makes the Revelation good news is the hope that is born for the church--the bride of the Lamb who has overcome. A faithful reading of God's Word leads to a faithful response from God's people. The Shaped by Scripture series teaches a simple, engaging method of studying the Bible that will lead to honest interpretation and a changed relationship with God.

We are a community of bible believing Christians who meet every Wednesday night at Faith Community Chapel, FB and Zoom. We have a teaching at 6:00pm led by Pastor Marcos Grael in Portuguese and at 7:00pm led by Hank Bastos in English. The study ends at 8:30pm.
